It may be a bit of a rainy and grey Sunday in Melbourne, but nothing will dampen our spirits in this adorable Maison Michel rain hood! The cute bear ears and pearl detail have us hoping it will be a wet winter.

And the award goes to…Christine! No, we’re not talking about the Logies (ahem, is anyone?), but the 2011 Prix de Marie Claire Fashion Awards. We are proud to announce that a hand-selected group of international and local judges have awarded Christine as the Best Boutique in Australia. To celebrate all things indulgent and wonderful over Easter (yes, we’ve been snacking on Haigh’s mini eggs this week), here is a sneak peek at our beautiful new arrival, Goossens Paris. World-renowned master of couture jewellery, Robert Goossens first caught the eye of Gabriel ‘Coco’ Chanel in 1953, who quickly made him a regular supplier. The Goossens family have since blazed a golden trail through all the top fashion houses from Christian Lacroix, to Dior, Rochas to Sonia Rykiel. Naturally, they invited Christine to be one of only four stockists in the world! It is rare to see this level of true artisanship and attention to detail in each glistening piece. We are in love!
